MY STORY

I’m Sam Collinson.

I am an online pastor and music leader - creating content to influence you towards deeper faith in God. As a young man I had a powerful encounter with God. I was once sceptical of such things. I was anti-God and anti-Christian as a teen. It was through reading the bible that I began hearing the truth.

In 2017 at a summer event, I finally said a huge ‘yes’ to Jesus. After going through water baptism later that year, I started to receive the Spirit of God into my heart- marking the start of a transformative journey. I became passionate about learning the Bible and making an impact on the world. Despite many mistakes in this time of initial growth, I eventually came to a place of surrender to God, repenting of past sins and pursuing healthier ways.

I could not keep this spiritual awakening to myself and so I naturally began sharing about Christ with all my family and friends. When I could not answer a difficult question, I would step away to read and research - returning with solid answers. This rigorous study of the bible & philosophy grounded me.

EVIDENCE AND EXPERIENCE

Although my ‘subjective’ experience of God was very personal to me, I also discovered a wealth of objective truth for God and for the Bible. For example, the astounding case for divine design found in the universe, as well as the undeniable evidence for the resurrection of Jesus. I also continued to meet people who had profound stories of faith, including those who had near-death experiences, miraculous healing, and more. I even began to see God perform miracles with my own eyes.

After a short missionary trip to Europe with an amazing group of people, I returned for ministry training at Regents Theological College, England. Here I met my wonderful wife - Hannah. Since our wedding in 2013, we have served in many churches whilst raising our family.

After several years of working in education, I stepped into a pastoral ministry role at a Pentecostal Church in 2018. During this season in Norfolk, I also began to connect with evangelists. God was creating a new network for a purpose that I could not fully comprehend.

RETURNING TO CAMBRIDGE

In 2023, after sensing God’s call, we moved back to Cambridge. I returned to the workplace, no longer leading a church, but making steps towards a new way of life and service to God. Then in 2024, we strongly connected with a ministry called Presence Revival who encouraged us to pursue our calling. Over time, a ministry vision and a strategy began to emerge.

THE STRATEGY OF THIS MINISTRY

As a preacher, pastor, content creator, and musician, I emphasise the need for revival—the work of the Holy Spirit to heal, save and deliver. In 2025, I intend to advance revival in these three main ways.

1. Make Jesus Known 📣

We celebrate bold evangelism, both in the public sphere and within the church community. Our first key objective is empower believers to share the Gospel - equipping the saints for evangelism within their sphere of influence as well as creating new opportunities such as evangelistic events.

2. Stand up for the Truth ☝️

In recognising that God’s ways of truth & justice are our source of freedom, our second objective to present a clear but respectful case for Christ. We strive to see the voice of truth & justice amplified through God’s people. We recognise the call to engage with the culture. We intend to offer a renewed approach to apologetics - presenting reasonable answers to the questions and objections that pertain to Christian beliefs and values.

3. Worship God Everywhere 🙏

God is worthy to be worshipped in all places and at all times! Therefore, our third objective is to extravagantly praise Christ in new arenas as well as bringing worship back into the home - changing the spiritual atmosphere. We recognise that the worship of God is a witness to an unbelieving world and that God’s spirit is present in a stronger measure when His presence is honoured by His people.

My focus is the East of England! After hearing many prophecies, I believe that God is sending something big to this land.
